Dear Candidate

As a candidate, i.e. the person to whom the personal data you have supplied refer (hereinafter the "Data"), Kenwood Limited with offices at 1 Kenwood Business Park, New Lane, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 2NH (hereinafter the “Company” or “De Longhi”), wishes to inform you of the following.

WHICH PERSONAL DATA MAY BE COLLECTED
The Data collected relates to the general information contained in your Curriculum Vitae. In addition, the Company may also collect information resulting from the checking of your references (if carried out) such as membership of any institutions, academic records, employment history and any other information relevant in determining your suitability as a candidate. Information from your profile on professional networks (if applicable), photographs, notes taken during interviews and comments from other people such as your referees, which might arise during the selection process, may also be included. Data may be updated based on publicly available information and/or information gathered from third parties, and/or directly from you for example information made available on social media. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to check the veracity of the Data, particularly with regards to academic qualifications achieved, previous work experience, professional or company positions held, including by contacting the referees you have indicated, your previous employers and any other person with whom you may have come into contact during the course of your work.

The Data collected does not concern personal beliefs, trade union membership or political affiliation, or political, religious or trade union beliefs, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, race, ethnic origin, colour, state of health (hereinafter referred to as “Special categories of personal data”), or any facts that are not relevant to evaluating your professional aptitude, provided these do not include characteristics that could affect the manner in which the work is performed or that constitute an essential or decisive requirement for the work itself.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES YOUR PERSONAL DATA CAN BE USED
The collection and processing of your Data are necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures and are carried out for reasons connected to or necessary in searching for and selecting personnel for the Company.

Precondition for the processing: the provision of Data, including Special categories of personal data, within the limits indicated above, in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation, is obligatory in order to allow the Company to fully comply with the knowledge and assessment requirements adopted in searching for and selecting personnel, as well as to comply with laws, rules and regulations. A failure to provide this Data may make it impossible to carry out the personnel research and selection process and to establish an employment relationship.

HOW WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA SAFE AND FOR HOW LONG
Your Data will be processed in compliance with the principles of accuracy, lawfulness and transparency and may also be carried out using automated means that can memorise, manage and transmit such data. Data will be processed using suitable tools that guarantee their security and confidentiality using procedures that prevent the risk of loss, unauthorised access, unlawful use and dissemination.

Your data will only be held for the time necessary for the purposes of personnel selection (for a specific position or for future positions potentially of interest). The Company will periodically check the Data and the possibility of deleting them if they are no longer necessary for the intended purposes.

In any case, your Data will be held on the Company’s databases for no longer than 12 months from the date of acquisition. After that date, your Data will be deleted or rendered anonymous.

WHO WE CAN SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH
Your personal data may be accessed by duly-authorised employees from the Human Resources department, Line Managers relevant to the vacancy and by external suppliers appointed, if necessary, as data processors, who support us in providing services.

For the same purposes, your personal data may also be accessed by other De Longhi Group companies based in the European Union if this is relevant to the vacancies reporting structure. YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS AND YOUR RIGHT TO FILE COMPLAINTS BEFORE THE SUPERVISORY AUTHORITIES
You have the right to:

request access to your personal Data, their adjustment or deletion;
supplement any incomplete Data;
limit the processing;
receive your Data in a structured and commonly-used format that is legible by an automatic device (portability), and to request the Company to transmit your Data to another controller;
revoke any consent provided in relation to the processing of your images, at any time;
object to the use of your Data, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons.
